Review and Giveaway: Wildcard 3 by Missy Johnson

She’s hiding something from me and I need to know what it is. I’ve done so many things I never thought I’d do for this woman and it kills me that she’s lying to me. How can I make her see that she can trust me? Do I want to know the truth? Sometimes things are easier when they’re left unsaid…

We continue the story of Wildcard, Volume 3 with Scarlett, Jake and Ryder. We
left off from the last book with Ryder paying off Tony and Scarlett paying
a hit man so-to-speak just to scare him off. Will he stay away? Will they each find out what they did to get him to go away? Or will they both end up in trouble?

Before they are able leave Chicago, Jake needs to have surgery and hopefully
this is just a minor thing and all will be better. Once back in the UK Jake can start another round of the treatments.

Ryder sees a text message on Scarlett's cell and reads it and decides to text
back and gets a little information he hadn't known. Scarlett finds out and they discuss it and now the whole blackmail scheme has come to light.

Missy brings out the shocker in this one, holy crap!!! I would of NEVER guessed that!

How will Ryder react and will he go overboard?
"All I ever wanted to do was make the whole thing go away - only I've made
everything worse. Story of my life." - Scarlett

Great ending to this series! I give this book 4 HEA stars!

Wildcard 3
was the last book in this series, and one that I highly anticipated. But I have to say I was little disappointed. I really did like book 1 and book 2, but for some reason when the secret Scarlett had been hiding comes out ... I find myself saying that was it? I guess I expected there to be a little more because the anticipation was built up so high. I am not sure how many stars I would potentially give this story so I am just sticking with I liked parts of the book but seemed rushed and not the big bang I was expecting. But in all the series its self earned a 3.5 stars.

This book starts off where the second one ended with Ryder paying off the crazy asshole ex, and Scarlett paying a hit-man to scare off Tony. Both clueless as to what the others did, but when Jake falls ill those secrets have to be put on hold. When Jake is better and Ryder stars teaching tennis instead of playing Scarlett finally feels that her life is getting back to normal... but always in the back of her mind she wonders what happened to Tony and if what she did will come back and haunt her.

When secrets are revealed and Tony comes up beaten to the point of almost dying.. and the police are looking to question Scarlett... will the life she has been building with Ryder fall down completely, and Jake will she loose him too?

Only one way to find out how this ends.. you need get your one clicking finger ready and click away!

Missy lives in a small town in Central Victoria with her husband, and her confused pets (a dog who think she’s a cat, a cat who thinks he’s a dog…you get the picture).

When she’s not writing, she can usually be found looking for something to read.
