Grant All of my demons are coming to head. I thought Ari could push them back. I thought I could conquer my vices with her at my side.
I thought wrong.

Aribel Fear is my new constant. I thought I could conceal it, contain it, control it. I thought that now that I had Grant the worst was over.
I thought wrong.
But if we’re going to survive, wherever you go…take me with you.

Take Me With You Teaser 1

Grant practically bounded across the room until he was directly in front of me. Then, his hands were cupping my cheeks so tenderly that it was as if he thought I might break in half. Without a word, his mouth dropped down on mine, and the kiss was as light as a feather. It was a question, a soft and delicate question, one he had never asked before—permission. When I didn’t pull away from him, he received his answer. The kiss deepened, and he coaxed all the anger out of me. He drew it out as if sucking venom from an open wound. He kissed me so heatedly and lovingly that not even a drop remained. All that was left was a bottomless well of emotions of how much I loved and missed him. When I came back into the moment, I heard the catcalls and yells from the people around us. It was then I remembered that we were in a crowded room, surrounded by people, and Grant had kissed the breath out of me. I flushed from head to toe at the attention, but he wouldn’t let me pull away. “I’m sorry,” he whispered. “I shouldn’t have blown up on you. I shouldn’t have done anything. You’re all that matters.” I stared up at him in confusion. “Who are you, and what have you done with Grant McDermott?” He laughed that beautiful glorious laugh, and a smile lit up his whole face. It was that damn smile that had won me over in the first place. “Run away with me,” he murmured. “What?” “Run away with me. Let’s get out of here.” “Where are we going?” “Anywhere. Everywhere.”

Take Me With You is the second book in the Take Me Series.  I absolutely love K.A. Linde and this series was another great one for me! I would give this book a 4 stars and even though it was a second book it doesn't really leave in a cliffy but it does leave room for more.  I loved meeting Grant the sexy bad boy rocker in the first book Take Me for Granted and Ari the no holds bar girl that took shit from no one.  I definitely fell in love with them a little more in this book, although there wasn't quite as much drama with this book I still felt excited and flipped through the pages like I couldn't get enough. We all know K.A. for her asshole Jack and her almost President Brady, but you need to get to know Mr. Rock Star Grant because if you haven't yet learned K.A. certainly can create us a freaking awesome leading man and this book is no different.

Grant and Ari have there ups and downs in book 1 and this book will start up after they finally are back together.  They will have to deal with more drama now because Contraband is about to make it big.. Grant's past has a away of rearing its ugly head and insecurities will test fate. Will they be able to hold there relationship together through all the trials and tribulations that will be thrown at them.. or will everything they thought they had fall away?

I don't want to give to much away in this review because you just need to go get this series.. enough said!  I am working on short and sassy reviews rather than long and boring because you can read the synopsis to figure out what to expect I don't have to tell you it all.. I just have to tell you what I feel and I feel amazing after reading this and can't wait for more!  Following Me is the next book in this series and I can't wait for it to release!  Thanks for another great series and great book now hurry up with more Grant!

Take Me With You by K.A. Linde is that concluding book in the Take Me Series.  K.A. Linde has a way of writing that draws the reader into her stories and has you relating to the characters in some way, no matter how small it may be, even the characters that appear unredeemable until the very end.  This book was a 3 star read for me, and if you are a fan of angsty rock stars who fall in love with nerdy independent woman, then this is the series for you.

Take Me With You picks up after the reader has an OMG moment at the end of Take Me For Granted.  Grant and Aribel are finally back together after all that they have been through, every misunderstanding, intentional or not when he tells her that his father is getting out of jail and Grant believes that he will come after him and hurt him.  Although there relationship seems to be strong and moving in the right direction at the beginning of the book, the reader can almost guess and wait on the edge of their seat wondering when the next time Grant will mess up is because lets face it; a guy with no clue how to be in a relationship, who lives and breathed for his bands groupies will never get it perfect on the first try.  And that is what the reader comes to expect from Grant as a character and K.A. Linde writes the part perfectly in a realistic manner.

Both Grant and Ari are stubborn in the fact that they won't bend for the other at times when one should really compromise.  It gives their relationship excitement in a way but it also lends to much unnecessary pain felt by both of them.  After Ari's father tricks her into having dinner with him and Henry, the guy that her father sees her with but she has no romantic interest in, she goes backstage at the Drift concert discovering that Grant is there but didn't tell her about it.  Each one of them find out about the other being in the same city at the same time and when they go to each other huge misunderstandings occur that keep them apart; mostly due to their stubborness and lack of communication that at time willl make the reader want to read through the pages and throttle one or both of them.

When things with Grants band finally start to take off, one wonders if Ari and Grant will be able to make their relationship work long distance.  Grant being the lead singer of a band, singing songs about sex and maybe a little love, to the girls in the audience like he is singing to each of them personally can lead to a jealous that Ari doesn't know how to deal with.  But when Grant sings the song "White Hot" that he wrote just for her, any thought of faithfulness flies from Ari's mind because she knows the only person Grant will ever feel that way or sing that way about is her and she feels the same way about him!

Grant worries about going on tour with the possibility of his father returning and Ari being at school unprotected.  He asks her not to go to his apartment while he is away so that his father can't ambush her because deep down Grant still believes that his father is coming for him, not matter what his uncle says to try and convince him of otherwise.  His father couldn't have changed, or so Grant thought and the blame that he placed on Grant for the murder of his mother worried him incessantly over what he would do when he found him.

Do Ari and Grant make their relationship work despite every obstacle that is put in their way?  Can they survive Grant being on the road? Are Ari and Grant safe from his father?  You will have to read the conclusion of this series to find out.
