Mathias Mitchell’s easy smile hides a world of hurt. After the worst kind of family betrayal, he moves to Happily Inc., California—the wedding destination town supplies a steady stream of bridesmaids, perfect for his “no promises, no pain” lifestyle. Yet he can’t stop watching for his beautiful, elusive neighbor on the animal preserve behind their homes.

Gamekeeper Carol Lund knows she’s not special enough to attract an alpha male like Mathias, so his offer to help her adopt a herd for her lonely giraffe is surprising—and his determined seduction, even more so. But just as she finally welcomes him into her bed, his careless actions crush her heart.

Will she give him a second chance to prove she’ll always come first in his heart?

Don’t miss You Say It First, the first book in the Happily Inc series.

Carol and Violet are best friends as well as sisters. Can they both find love?

Mathias is a tortured artist whose father has rejected his art and his twin brother has drawn away from him. He likes spending time with Carol and watching her giraffe, Millie, on the nature preserve, but he isn't ready to trust.

Ulrich, a Duke, has come to America to confront Violet about the boxes his grandmother is sending her. Can he see the truth that Violet has had a crush on him since she met him years ago?

Book two of Happily Inc let's us follow the Lund sisters as they search for their happily ever after. Two for the price of one! This novel only made me want more of this group of friends!
I must say I hadn't realized this was a book two in a series. And while it can be stand-alone I still felt slightly confused. The even more confusing part was that this was two simultaneous stories told at the same time. The story of Carol and her sister Violet. The main focus at first though is Carol's story.

Carol is the gamekeeper of the wild preserve. Matthias is her neighbor and an artist. They are friends yet so much lies beneath the surface. The learn to depend on and help each other. And when were they are together they become a dynamic duo.

A little confusing in the beginning but the ending is well worth it. Definitely one-click this one.
